James Socha was one of the greatest track and field athletes for Benedictine.

He earned All-American pole vault honors in 1984 and was a three-time Natinoal Championship finalist from 1982-84.

Along with team captain title, James was named Most Valuable Field Athlete in 1984. He also excelled in the classroom and was awarded the Who's Who of Colleges and Universities.

After earning his degree, James attended DePaul University College of Law where he graduated from and opened his own practice in 1987.

He is currently the founder and managing member of the RCAA Sales Group, LLC. James is also the jump amd sprints coach for the Chesterton High School women's track and field team.

James is married to the former Julianne Caron and the couple have three daughters: Milana, Erin and Amy.
