Keeley was a five time All-American during his tenure at Benedictine. He holds individual records in three events: the 100 Breaststroke (59.17 in 1996), the 200 IM (1:54.29 in 1995), and the 400 IM (4:04.72 in 1995). Keeley was also a member of four school record-setting relay teams: the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:28.54 in 1994), the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:13.71 in 1994), the 200 Medley Relay (1:38.41 in 1994), and the 400 Medley Relay (3:34.98 in 1994). He went to nationals all four years and placed 4th in country in 1994-1995 in the 400 IM. He was named the 1997 Student-Athlete of the Year.
