BU goalkeeper Orlando Esparza was magnificent in the nets for the visiting Eagles. Esparza notched his third shutout of the season of his six starts. He lowered his goals against average to 1.26, thanks to 12 saves versus the Sabres.

Marian out-shot Benedictine by a 23-10 margin. The Sabres had six attempts in the overtime periods (five in the second OT segment).
