Media Services:
Benedictine University’s communications office is available throughout the year to accommodate any media requests. Any and all questions should be directed to Tim Calderwood.
Press Row Seating:
Press Row seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All credential requests should be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of the respective game and can be picked up at the general ticket booth prior to the contest. All passes are intended for working media only and are good only for the day of the game requested (unless otherwise indicated).
Game Day Services:
All media will be provided with a game program and/or roster, any pre-game notes, and cumulative statistics for both teams. Statistics will be available at halftime and at the conclusion of the game. Play-by-play will be available at the conclusion of the game, as well. A fax machine is also available in the sports information office after the game.
If you need complete game statistics faxed or e-mailed, please give fax numbers and e-mail addresses to a sports information representative as soon as possible before the game and the packets will be sent out immediately following the conclusion of the contest.
Radio/Internet Broadcasts:
on the upper concourse of the Rice Center, in the baseball press box and on the stadium upper deck for softball games. The football and baseball press box facilities have numerous data ports. Wireless arrangements can be made for football at least 7 working days ahead of game time. The phone and internet lines are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Post-Game Interviews:
At the conclusion of each game and after a brief “cooling-off” period, coaches and student-athletes from both teams will be available to the media. Our official media room is the Dan and Ada Rice Center clasroom, located in Hall of Legends.
Coach/Student-Athlete Interviews:
All requests for coach or student-athlete interviews during the week should be made at least 48 hours in advance with the sports information office. We will do our best to coordinate an interview time that is convenient for both the coach/student-athlete and media member. Due to privacy laws, we do not give out personal contact information for student-athletes. However, if you leave your contact information we will forward it ASAP when making arrangements for interviews.
Photographers:
, as well as concern over use of images of student-athletes, only media and credentialed commercial photographers are permitted in close proximity to the competition. Proper credentials should be obtained at least 24 hours beforehand.
