Benedictine University's women's soccer team held Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) frontrunner Dominican University scoreless for the first half, before eventually dropping a 4-0 decision at The Sports Complex. The Eagles fell to 1-6 on the year and are now 1-3 in the NAC.

Benedictine goalkeeper Melissa Hernandez kept the Stars (4-3, 4-0 NAC) at bay for the first 45 minutes when she registered three saves.  However, in the second segment, DU tallied a pair of goals within the first three minutes after the intermission and then added a pair of insurance goals at the match wore on.

Hernandez would finish the night with eight saves.

Dominican out-shot the Eagles by a 21-4 margin.  Three of BU's attempts belonged to freshman Rachel Wilson and two were directly on goal.
