MILWAUKEE, Wis. – After holding Milwaukee School of Engineering scoreless in the first half, the Benedictine University men's soccer team allowed two goals in the second half, falling to the Raiders 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed while the Raiders were the No. 3 seed.

Less than 10 minutes into the second half, MSOE's Joe Westrich scored in the 52nd minute on a cross from Jordan Werner. The Raiders took a 2-0 lead just four minutes later on a penalty kick from Dan Hosko, finding the back of the net past Hanley.

Giancarlo Chavez scored his second goal of the year.
The Benedictine offense took seven shots in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Eagles fell 2-1 to MSOE.

Jesse Ortiz and Erik Lopez each had two shots in the game. Benedictine ends their season with a 9-9-1 overall record and made the conference tournament for the first time since 2006.
