RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University scored two first half goals to help them defeated the Benedictine University women's soccer team, 3-0, on Tuesday night in Northern Athletics Conference action.
The Eagles (2-5-0, 1-3-0 NAC) were only allowed two shots in the first half by the strong Dominican (6-2-0, 4-0-0) defense, The Stars remain undefeated in conference play after the win. Megan Johnson had a team high two shots for BenU while

Ale Farias each took one shot.
DU's Ashley Meyer gave the Stars an early 1-0 lead just 41 seconds in the game. In the 29th minute, Elizabeth Ficek put the Stars up 2-0 off a corner kick from Liz Phipps. IN the 68th minute, Adrienne Ryba found Kelsy Holloway to secure Dominican's 3-0 victory.
Benedictine women's soccer continues conference play this weekend when they travel to Concordia University-Wisconsin for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
