LISLE, Ill. - Concordia University-Wisconsin out-shot the Benedictine University men's soccer team, 17-9, but the game ended in a 0-0 tie after two over-time periods.

The tie moves Benedictine to 4-6-2 and 2-2-2 in Northern Athletics Conference action while Concordia-Wisconsin moves to 9-4-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the NAC.

Both teams took three shots in the first half but it was the Falcons who stepped up their offense in the second half with 12 shots compared to the Eagles five. After a scoreless regulation, each team took took a shot at the keeper but could not find the back of the net.

In double-overtime, BenU keeper Orlando Esparza made a huge save to keep the game scoreless and secure the 0-0 double-overtime tie.

Mostafa Abdelrahman led the Eagles with four shots while Esparza tallied six saves. The Falcon keeper, Enrique Alverado, had four saves.

The Eagles are back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 11 when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
