RIVER FOREST, Ill. - Mostafa Abdelrahman scored the lone goal of the game in the 53rd minute to give the Benedictine men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Concordia University-Chicago on Tuesday night in Northern Athletics Conference action.

Benedictine (4-3-1, 2-0-1 NAC) outshot the Cougars in the first half, 7-2, but could not find the back of the net.

Despite being outshot 6-4 in the second half, BenU's Edgar Reyes found Abdelrahman in the 53rd minute for the game-winning goal and the Eagles second conference win of the season.

Jesse Ortiz  and Abdelrahman led all players with five shots while BenU's keeper, Orlando Esparza had four saves.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday morning when they travel to Edgewood College for an 11:00 a.m. contest.
