MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Benedictine University men's basketball team suffered a 67-52 road loss at MSOE on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles fell behind by double digits early in the contest and hit only six field goals in the first half. MSOE, who led the whole game, led by as many as 18 points in the half and held a 34-19 lead at the break. Benedictine crept within seven points with 11:42 left in the game when
Jamison Montgomery hit a pair of free throws. Less than two minutes later the lead was again in double figures and MSOE rolled to the win.
Michael Woolf led three Benedictine players in double figures with 13 points. Dan Montano and Montgomery netted 10 each.
Benedictine (4-15, 2-8 NAC) travels to Dominican on Wednesday evening for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
