Benedictine made twice as many first half shots as Dominican and led by as many as 18 points in the half though Dominican scored the final four points of the half to pull within 33-19 at the break.

Dominican pulled within 14 points midway through the second, but Benedictine went on to lead by as many as 23 in the victory. The Eagles held a commanding 42-28 advantage in points in the paint and also converted 27 turnovers into 21 points while holding a 41-30 edge on the glass.
