MEQUON, Wis. - The Benedictine University women's basketball team opened the 2013 portion of the schedule with a 69-53 road loss at Concordia University Wisconsin.
Michelle Gaede tied the game for the fourth time in the first half at 14-14 with a jumper at the 5:57 mark. Concordia Wisconsin quickly embarked on a 10-0 run to jump ahead by double figures. The hosts led 30-19 at the break.

Kam Haifleigh again brought the Eagles within striking distance. Benedictine hung around until the midway point of the half when the Falcons utilized a 13-0 run to pull away with just over seven minutes remaining.
Haifleigh netted 11 points to lead Benedictine, her second double-digit performance of the season.
Sierra Dunner also reached double figures with 10 points as Benedictine shot 42.9 percent from the field.
Benedictine (5-8, 3-2) will return home on Tuesday evening to host Dominican at 7:00 p.m.
