LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University Department of Athletics is proud to present National Girls and Women in Sports Day on April 27.
Benedictine Athletics is proud to invite all girls grades Kindergarden-8 for a free clinic to celebrate the opportunities in sports for girls. The event will take place inside the Rice Center on April 27 from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
On-site registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the event commencing at 10:30 a.m. There will be five 15-minute stations led by Benedictine University coaches and players. The stations will include volleyball, basketball, soccer, cheer/dance, and a health/body awareness station.
When all participants have completed all the stations, Jersey Mike's will present a food reception at 11:45 a.m.
All girls and their families will receive free admission to either the Benedictine softball or lacrosse game where the attendees will be honored throughout. Benedictine will play Marian in a softball doubleheader at 12:00 p.m. while women's lacrosse will welcome the College of Mount St. Joseph, also at 12:00 p.m.
