MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Benedictine University women's soccer held a commanding 29-6 advantage in shots but had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday.
Wisconsin Lutheran netted the first two goals of the game, forcing Benedictine to play from behind.
Jackie Elzakhem tallied her first goal of the year in the 68th minute while
Tara Tarazoff struck in the 87th minute to send the match into overtime. The first goal was assisted by
Giana Canfield with
Rachael Hodison providing a helper on the equalizier.
Benedictine held a commanding 17-2 advantage in shots during the second half and added four more in the extra sessions.
Meagan Johnson led the Eagles with six shots. Tarazoff put three on goal.
