Â
Tuesday: at Alverno (3-13-1, 1-8), 3:00 p.m.
Â
Tuesday afternoon, the Eagles will head to Milwaukee to take on Alverno. The Inferno currently sit at 10th place in the conference, with the lone NACC win coming at Lakeland College on October 15. Despite the team's struggles in conference, the Inferno have won two non-conference games this month by a combined margin of 19-1. Alverno defeated Mount Mary University 9-1 on October 4 and Robert Morris-Lake County 10-0 on October 19.
Â
The Eagles have enjoyed success against Alverno in recent years, losing to the Inferno just once since the NACC was formed in 2006. That loss came back in 2009, when Alverno defeated BenU 1-0 at the Village of Lisle/Benedictine University Sports Complex. Last season, the Eagles took the matchup 1-0 at home courtesy of a goal from
Rachael Hodison.
