FROM THE COACH
"I was really proud of the way our guys showed resolve in an important match against a tough Marian side," head coach Rich Nassif said. "Our energy and focus was the key in the second half, allowing us to really dominate territory and create as many quality chances as we did. It would have been nice to capitalize on more of our opportunities, but it was certainly a road performance we can build on."

STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine held a 16-11 advantage in shots
• Marian held a 7-4 edge in the opening 45, but Benedictine turned the tables in the second to a 12-4 edge
• Kapetanos collected five shots, with two on goal
• Lehman finished with four shots and Pedro Parra collected three
• Zorohn Reed started in goal, making two saves, both early in the first half
