SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - The Benedictine University men's soccer team rebounded from a conference loss on Wednesday to shut out Lakeland on the road Saturday by a 3-0 final.

Cristian Michalowski on a corner kick that was sent into the right corner of the net for the first goal in the 42nd minute
• The goal marked the first of the season for Michalowski
• Benedictine added two goals late in the second half to pull away
• Francisco Delgado scooped up a misplay by the Lakeland goalie in the 74th minute to extend the lead, firing a shot into the net from 20 yards out for his second goal of the year
• Erik Stammer recorded the final tally in the 87th minute on a feed from
Jonny Lehman to put the game away with his fourth of the season

Rich Nassif. "But we brought a sharp mindset and dictated the match, even when our possession was a bit choppy. It was great to see certain players step into a bigger role and today's shutout was definitely a complete team effort."
