The Benedictine University men's track and field team competed at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College in Naperville on Thursday and Friday. No team score was recorded, as a limited number of participants competed for BenU.
Billy Sipek continued his strong season in the high jump, placing second with a 2.07m mark and moving up to 11th on the national leaderboard. On the track,
Chris Dziagwa stood out in the 800m (12th place, 1:53.94), while
Joe Chavez was strong in the 1500m (28th place, 4:00.38).
The Eagles will be right back at North Central next weekend competing in the Gregory Invitational. Events will take place on Thursday and Friday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on both days.
