The Benedictine University women's track and field team competed at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College in Naperville on Thursday and Friday. No team score was recorded, as a limited number of participants competed for BenU.
Megan Malone continued to make her case for a national bid, placing second in the hammer and ranking 13th in the country with a school record 52.38m mark. In the pole vault,
Brittany Holst placed 13th at 3.41m. On the track,
Julie Carroll placed 39th in the 800m at 2:27.07.
The Eagles will be right back at North Central next weekend competing in the Gregory Invitational. Events will take place on Thursday and Friday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on both days.
