Box Score CHICAGO, IL - Nick Kapetanos scored a pair of goals as the Benedictine University men's soccer team upended North Park University 2-1 on the road Saturday night.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine held a 2-0 lead in the contest
• Kapetanos scored early on a corner kick from Yair Ortega in the ninth minute
• The goal came on the first opportunity for Benedictine
• Antonio Marti-Polo had a big first half and made consecutive saves to start the second
• Kapetanos extended the advantage in the 58th minute on a pass from Erik Stammer into the lower left of the net
• North Park pulled within 2-1 in the 62nd minute
• The hosts hit the crossbar with less than two minutes to go but could not tie the contest
• The win moved Benedictine over the .500 mark again with a second consecutive victory

"This was a very entertaining game from start to finish," head coach Attila Schmidt said. "Both teams played their hearts out and created some very dangerous chances right up until the final whistle. I'm proud of these young men's efforts."
