LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team was shut out 1-0 by regionally ranked Elmhurst College on Saturday morning.

THE DETAILS
• Elmhurst is undefeated and ranked fourth in the region
• Elmhurst tested the Benedictine back line throughout the contest
• The only goal of the day scored in the 11th minute on the pickup of a turnover
• Benedictine had problems maintaining possession but remained stout defensively, allowing just the single tally
• Abbie Graham had a chance to even the game in the 83rd minute but was denied

FROM THE COACH
"Credit to Elmhurst, they were organized defensively and good on the ball, making them difficult to play against," head coach Mike Boland said. "I thought we did well defensively and limited their dangerous scoring chances.  If we defend like that in upcoming NACC play, we will be difficult to beat."
