LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team finished a stretch of three games in six days with a double overtime loss to visiting Aurora University at home.

• Both teams traded chances throughout the contest
• Abbie Graham posted the first shot for Benedictine in the 22nd minute
• The opening 45 minutes of play saw just six combined shots
• Aurora came out aggressive to start the second half, notching the first five shots and a corner kick
• Benedictine turned the tables in the middle portion of the half, putting together four straight shots over a five-minute stretch
• Three of the attempts came from Megan Anderson
• A team save by the Benedictine back line kept the game scoreless in the 86th minute
• Anderson missed high in the final moments of regulation time
• Cassidy Henson came up with a save in the 99th minute, keeping the game scoreless
• Graham blasted an attempt wide in the closing seconds of overtime
• Aurora scored the winning goal in the first minute of overtime, converting on a cross
• If the standings hold, the teams could meet in the opening round of the NACC Tournament


• Aurora held a 17-10 edge in shots, posting 10 in the second half
• The visitors also finished with four corner kicks
• Henson finished with three saves in goal
• The contest featured just eight combined shots on goal
• Anderson notched five shots with Graham adding four
