MONTGOMERY, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team played a second consecutive double overtime affair, battling Aurora to a draw on the road.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine created plenty of chances in the contest but could not put one into the net
• End-to-end action started early in the matchup
• Cassidy Henson made a save on an attempt in the third minute
• Katy Fredericksen quickly countered
• Eve Meintz posted the first Benedictine shot on goal in the 14th minute and Fredericksen had a go in the 18th minute
• Fredricksen produced consecutive attempts on goal in the second half in the 54th and 56th minutes
• Abbie Graham was denied in the 87th minute and
Kayleigh Sommer was stopped just before the close of regulation
• The extra sessions saw Benedictine produce three shots with the only attempt on target coming in the 106th minute from Fredericksen
• Benedictine held a 15-8 advantage in shots with 10 on target
• Fredericksen tallied five with four on goal while Meintz and Graham each notched three
• Henson recorded three saves in goal as part of the blank sheet
• Benedictine ended Aurora's season last year with the program's first ever win over Aurora in the conference tournament
