LISLE, IL - Seniors scored four of the goals to power the Benedictine University men's soccer team to a Senior Night win.

THE DETAILS
• Wisconsin Lutheran produced an early corner kick, but then it was all Benedictine
• The first goal finished a flurry in the 22nd minute when Yair Ortega blasted home a second rebound after attempts from Larry Meehan and Lukasz Sulka (HIGHLIGHT)
• As the attack continued, the lead extended by a goal less than 10 minutes later
• Gio Ovalle finished a long run with a shot tucked inside the near post (HIGHLIGHT)
• Benny Masi and Aldreiron Smith provided the helpers
• Santiago Beltran made the score 3-0 with an individual effort, changing directions in the 36th minute (HIGHLIGHT)
• Wisconsin Lutheran took a bite into the Benedictine edge early in the second half, scoring on an open net following a scramble near the end line in the 56th minute
• Benedictine responded by scoring two more times to put the game out of reach
• Elber Haro struck in the 77th minute and a corner kick from Ortega enabled Willy Campos to score the final goal in the 86th minute
• Benedictine held a 33-7 advantage in shots, controlling most of the possession

Benedictine finished the season with a record of 11-7, 8-3 in the NACC. The year marked a third consecutive double-digit victory year under Attila Schmidt. The team finished tied for third in the conference standings
