MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's soccer team scored an early goal to help set the tone for a season ending win at Wisconsin Lutheran.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine was able to create chances from the outset with three different individuals posting shots in the opening five minutes
• Abbie Graham made the most of her second chance, lobbing home a feed from 
Stephanie Nichols in the eighth minute
• The goal marked the 13th of the season for Graham
• The defense prevented Wisconsin Lutheran from mounting offense with  just one shot reaching 
Cassidy Henson in the entire contest
• Katie Farb boosted the lead with a late marker in the 84th minute, directing a cross from 
Megan Wilson into the net
• Benedictine held a 26-1 advantage in shots
• Graham, Farb and Nichols also posted five
• Henson denied the only shot on goal in the first half
• Mary Keenan also saw time in net late in the match
SEASON
Benedictine finished the season with a record of 8-9-1, eclipsing last season's win total. The team finished tied for sixth in the conference with a 5-5-1 mark.
