THE DETAILS
• A frantic opening 45 minutes of play saw both teams consistently counter-attacking
• Benedictine pinned the ball on the Illinois Tech half following the first counter in the opening five minutes
• Abbie Graham was denied on a shot but had back-to-back corner kick attempts
• Graham struck first, breaking through following an offsides
• A foul in the box set up Graham for a PK, which converted for her seventh goal of the year
• Illinois Tech immediately answered, scoring on a hard shot deflected in front of the net in the 37th minute
• Just moments later and own goal allowed the hosts to take the lead
• A backwards header in the box early in the second half set up the goal to seal the win for Illinois Tech
