RIVER FOREST, IL - The Benedictine University men's soccer team improved to 3-0 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with a shutout win at Concordia Chicago.

• The opening 45 minutes of play saw a lot of back-and-forth action
• Concordia Chicago posted a pair of shots in the first five minutes
• Hayden Van Son was able to open the scoring in the 27th minute when
George Omondi-Soipan lofted a pass that led to a one-on-one
• Lukasz Sulka extended the lead to 2-0 in the 39th minute with header after a throw-in bounced off a Concordia Chicago defender
• Van Son capped the scoring in 60th minute with his second goal, heading in a pass from across the box that came from
Tomasz Kulak
• The defense stood tall to preserve the shutout
• Benedictine held a 19-13 advantage in shots with eight on goal
