AURORA, IL - The Benedictine University men's soccer team completed a pair of matches at Aurora against Michigan schools with a 3-2 loss in double overtime to Alma.

• Alma used a quick strike to open the scoring in the third minute of the contest
• Benedictine quickly turned momentum in the high octane contest and kept peppering the net until finally evening in the game in the 40th minute
• Kader Camara put home a feed from Aldreiron Smith and Tomasz Kulak
• Heading into the half tied, Benedictine struck early in the second to take their only lead
• Lukasz Sulka put away a Hayden Van Son feed in the 47th minute
• Alma tied the game in the 60th minute and neither team could score in regulation
• Dominic Wistocki made a save late in the first overtime session but the winner scored in the first minute of the second extra frame
• The teams combined for 49 shots with Benedictine managing 26
