• The opening 45 minutes of play saw neither side able to score
• Benedictine created plenty of early chances with four shots in the first 15 minutes of action
• Three of the attempts came from Eve Meintz with two on goal
• Benedictine held a 10-2 advantage in first half shots
• Marian was able to put together more opportunities in the second half but still could not strike
• Katie Farb scored the first goal of the day in the 56th minute on a feed from Stephanie Nichols
• Benedictine quickly created another chance before adding an insurance tally in the 69th minute
• Farb made it 2-0 by driving home a pass from Abbie Graham
• Benedictine held a 21-11 advantage in shots with eight on goal
• Meintz tallied five shots with Farb adding four
