• The lone goal of the contest came very early
• Mike Bassier picked up a failed clear and fired from the top of the box to locate
• Benedictine controlled the tempo and possession, but the back line of Wisconsin Lutheran held strong
• Dominic Wistocki made an early save in the second half and the visitors put on pressure late but could not tie the game
