MILWAUKEE, WI - After waiting through a weather delay of over an hour, the Benedictine University women's soccer team grabbed a conference win at Wisconsin Lutheran.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine put together four shots on goal in the first 13 minutes but could not score despite setting the tempo
- The teams went back-and-forth for a majority of the contest
- Following a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Benedictine was able to net the lone goal early in the second half
- Moments after Lyric Jones was stopped, Alexa Lara put a shot on target from 30 yards out that skipped into the bottom right of the goal
- The goal was the first of the year for Lara
- The defense held strong the rest of the way, preserving the fourth shutout of the year
