TO GAIN ENTRANCE TO AN EVENT AT BENEDICTINE AS EITHER A HOME OR VISITING FAN, YOUR NAME MUST BE ON A PRE-SUBMITTED LIST AT THE GATE. PLEASE NOTE: TAILGATING IS NOT ALLOWED AND ALL OTHER POLICIES RELATED TO ATTENDANCE LISTED BELOW REMAIN IN EFFECT.

In addition to allowing fans for outdoor events, Benedictine is now going to allow up to
50 people to attend the remaining
indoor athletic events.
Benedictine University has announced its spectator policy for spring athletic
outdoor contests during the spring 2021 season.
Benedictine Athletics is excited to be able to welcome fans back on a limited basis in accordance with strict health and safety guidelines from the NACC, State of Illinois and DuPage County. The below policy goes into effect immediately.
General guidance of the policy as is follows:
- Guests of Benedictine student-athletes and visiting student-athletes are required to be placed on a pre-submitted pass list and photo ID will be required to enter. This applies to HOME events only and not road contests.
- After student-athlete guests have been admitted, and if limited capacity at the venue allows for it, Benedictine resident students, staff and faculty will be admitted on a first-come first-serve basis. A current BenU ID must be shown to enter.
- Guests are required to wear a mask or face covering that covers the nose and mouth at all times, regardless of the facility.
- Guests are expected to observe social distancing at all events by spreading out and remain out of restricted areas, which includes a distance of at least 12 feet from bench areas, dugouts, bullpens and warm-up areas.
- Guests are permitted to lift their mask, not remove, to drink a beverage.
- Eating food and tailgating is strictly prohibited.
- Guests must depart the facility immediately at the conclusion of the contest and may not interact with student-athletes at the facility.
- Failure to adhere to these guidelines, will result in removal and the ability to attend any remaining home event during the spring.
- Benedictine University and the department of athletics reserve the right to amend their attendance policy without prior notice.
