• Manav Soorma kicked off the season in style, putting Benedictine ahead 1-0 in the 23rd minute
• Mike Bassier and Omar Barragn provided helpers
• Just over 15 minutes later Concordia Chicago was able to tie the score
• Barragan and
Lukasz Sulka set up the go-ahead goal from Bassier early in the second half
• Soorma scored again in the 70th minute to punctuate the season opening win
