- Concordia Chicago applied early pressure, notching three straight shots in just over a minute
- Katie Farb recorded the first Benedictine shot in the 22nd minute
- Holly Ward and
Jordan Leonard put shots on goal late in the first half
- Both teams created chances regularly in the second half but both goalies remained strong
- Benedictine did not record a shot in the first extra session
