LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team continued a tough schedule to start the season by dropping a contest to the conference favorites.

THE DETAILS
- Alexa Lara logged a shot on goal in the 10th minute
- Dominican responded by applying pressure but could not put one past the back line
- Stephanie Hernandez placed another shot on target in the 20th minute
- Neither team was able to score in the opening 45 minutes
- Dominican tallied the first goal early in the second half
- The lead extended to 2-0 in the 58th minute
- Taylor Healy tallied the only Benedictine goal in the 68th minute on a penalty kick
- Just over three minutes later Dominican notched the final marker
