It is with great pleasure that Benedictine University announces the hiring of
Sherraun Hodges-Mustafa to the position of women's track and field head coach.
"I'm honored to take the next step in my career with the young women and amazing staff that comprise Benedictine University," Hodges-Mustafa said. "I look forward to assisting the athletes reach personal achievements both on and off the track."
Specializing in hurdles and high jump, Hodges-Mustafa assisted the program at Homewood-Flossmoor from 2017-2021. Homewood-Flossmoor captured the IHSA 3A State championship in 2019.

"We are very excited that Sherraun (Hodges-Mustafa) is joining our department to work with women's track and field program," said director of athletics Paul Nelson. "We are eager to see how she develops the program."
Working at the Zephyrs Club since 2018, Hodges-Mustafa has also assisted at the Brown Club Team in addition to Champaign Centennial High School and Rantoul High School.

Hodges-Mustafa will begin duties on campus in January.
