RESULTS

The Benedictine University men's track & field program earned a fourth place finish at the Snow Day Track & Field Invite hosted by North Central College. Amir Blanchard took second place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.01 as well as third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.39.  Sergio Ayala claimed third place in the shot put with a toss of 13.70 meters. Karan Shetty ran to fifth place in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:16.63. Ernesto Carlton jumped to sixth in the long jump with a leap of 6.02 meters. Antwane Thigpen finished sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.19 while Nigel Whitaker took eighth place in the long jump with a distance of 5.84 meters. The team will next compete at Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday.
