The Benedictine University women's soccer team allowed three goals in the second half to suffer a 3-0 loss to visiting Marian University on Senior Night in the final home contest of the year. The contest was all even headed to the half. Marian scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the second half and added a late tally to grab the win. Benedictine put on a lot of pressure in the second half but could not score, finishing with seven shots in the second and 11 for the night with eight on target.
Katherine Prochnow made five saves in goal.
Benedictine (4-8-3, 4-5-1 NACC) visits Illinois Tech on Wednesday night.
