The Benedictine University men's soccer team scored the first goal of the game just moments after kickoff but MSOE tallied the next six to record a 6-2 victory in conference play on Saturday in Milwaukee.
Joseph Duarte opened the scoring with his sixth goal of the year, blasting home a feed from
Manav Soorma. MSOE tied the game just over 10 minutes later and scored four time in 20 minutes. Soorma was able to score late to account for the final, directing home a pass from
Habtamu Kruiswyk and
Cael Cummings in the 61st minute.
Sergio Valencia and
Juan Hernandez split time in goal with both recording a pair of saves.
Benedictine (5-9-1, 4-6-1) wraps the regular season at home on Wednesday night against Aurora.
