The Benedictine University men's soccer team won for the first time this season by scoring a 3-2 non-conference victory over Coe in Iowa on Sunday.
Chris Reynoso scored very early, finding the back of the net in the seventh minute. After Coe tied the game,
Manav Soorma struck late in the first to put Benedictine ahead.
Nick Soto extended the lead in the 80th minute, a goal that was needed because Coe scored less than five minutes later. Benedictine scored three goals on just seven shots.
Sergio Valencia started and recorded five saves in goal.
