The Benedictine University men's track and field team opened the indoor season with a pair of events, taking part in the Aurora Grand Prix and the Heenan Invitational hosted by North Central.

NORTH CENTRAL RESULTS
At Aurora, Benedictine placed 13th in a crowded field that competed at Gately Indoor Track in Chicago. The top finishers were
Temitope Osobamiro, who took 5th place long jump with a leap of 6.36m.
Sergio Ayala claimed 4th place in the shot put with a mark of 14.03m.
Competing on Saturday at North Central, Benedictine captured fourth place. Ayala logged the top finish with a second place in the shot put at 14.29m.
Casey Rosenberg took home third in the Triple Jump (12.67m),
Sulaiman Ahmed was fourth in the Long Jump (6.59m),
Amir Blanchard ran to fifth in the 60 meters (7.08) and
Davontay Hubbs claimed sixth in the 400 meters (53.12).
