The indoor season opened in earnest for the Benedictine University women's track and field this weekend with the team taking part in a pair of events hosted by area schools, the Aurora Grand Prix in Chicago and the Heenan Invitational hosted by North Central.

While the team did not score at Aurora, the team took home seventh at North Central.

Michelle Watson ran to third in the 60m hurdles at North Central with a time of 9.59 and Adryanna Burts finished seventh in the 400 (1:03.79).
