The Benedictine University women's soccer team scored first, finding the back of the net in the first minute, but the regionally ranked leaders of the conference rebounded to take control and hand Benedictine a 6-1 loss.

Emma Ehrhardt less than a minute into the match as Benedictine broke free following the opening kickoff to take the lead. Illinois Tech was able to tie the game in the 11th minute and scored the go-ahead marker in the 15th minute. The visitors scored four times in the opening 45 minutes and logged 28 shots.
Katherine Prochnow recorded 13 saves in the defeat.
Benedictine (0-11-6, 0-6-4 NACC) hosts MSOE on Saturday.
