The Benedictine University women's soccer team carried a lead into the final 10 minutes but needed to settle for a 1-1 tie at home in conference play against Rockford on Wednesday night.
Following a scoreless 45 minutes, Benedictine did not wait long to open the lead.
Alaina Hernandez posted her first of the year on a feed from
Addi Curtis. Rockford evened the game in the 83rd minute. Benedictine posted 22 shots with 12 on goal.
Kailyn Knudson logged six with Curtis notching five.
Katherine Prochnow tallied two saves in goal.
Benedictine has posted three 1-1 ties with a 1-0 loss over the last four matches.
Benedictine (0-9-4, 0-4-2 NACC) hosts Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday.
