FULL RESULTS

The Benedictine University men's track and field team saw several solid performances at the 2024 Wheaton Invitational on Saturday.

Sulaiman Ahmed, an indoor national qualifier and Second Team All-American, won the long jump with a mark that sits 14th in the country. Ahmed leaped 6.99m to outdistance the field of 33.

Karan Shetty, who participated the national cross country meet, claimed second in the 5,000 with a time of 15:46.51.

Jeremiah Wilson lost a jumps tiebreaker in the triple jump but still managed to finish eighth at 12.72m.

Overall the team accumulated 19 points and finished ninth of 11 teams that scored.
