Men's Soccer Opens Home Slate

The Benedictine University men's soccer team concluded the opening weekend of the year with a home matchup against North Park, falling 5-2.

Dawid Molek put Benedictine on the board early, scoring in the fourth minute on a feed from Chris Reynoso to make the score 1-0. North Park responded with the next two goals, taking the lead in the 29th minute. Alex Krzos tied the game in the 32nd minute but North Park grabbed the lead once more in the 44th minute and tallied two goals in the second to win.

Benedictine (1-1) visits Lake Forest on Saturday afternoon.
