The Benedictine University women's soccer team played for the final time before entering conference play, tuning up with a 4-0 loss at Grinnell in non-conference action.
Grinnell scored three times in the first half including their third tally less than two minutes before halftime. Benedictine managed just two shots in the contest.
Katherine Prochnow recorded one save in goal.
The shutout against Benedictine marked the second straight and third this season.
Benedictine (0-5-1) plays at Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon in the conference opener.
