Illinois Tech scored three goals in the second half to spoil an upset attempt by the Benedictine University men's soccer team on Wednesday night in Chicago.

- Illinois Tech opened the scoring in the 12th minute on a penalty kick
- Dawid Molek knotted the game in the 35th minute on a feed from Kamil Bak
- Less than four minutes later Bak set up Xavier Avila for the go-ahead tally, making the score 2-1 into the half
- The hosts evened the game in the 58th minute on another penalty kick
- Alex Krzos put Benedictine back in front on a penalty in the 66th minute
