The Benedictine University flag football team had the opportunity to grace the home gridiron for the first time on Wednesday night, taking advantage of a great crowd and gorgeous spring weather to welcome Rockford, who won the game 20-0. The contest marked the first for the team in over two weeks.
Marilyn Myrick completed 15 passes for 108 yards.
Madison Stevens caught five passes for 24 yards. Mae Washington and
Leilani Garcia both posted five tackles.
Saniya Shotwell ran for 17 yards on six attempts.
