A state of the art athletic training room was included with the Rice Center renovation. The Athletic training room has two large tubs, one hot and one cold. The cold tub is for acute injury care and practice and game recovery. The hot tub can be used for practice and game preparation and aid in rehabilitation exercises. The athletic training room is also equipped with ample equipment for physical therapy. We have electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot and cold compression therapy. Our Athletic training room uses an electronic filing system for athlete and injury information that can be accessed by the student-athlete within the Athletic Training room as well as at home. In the Athletic Training room the student-athlete can sign in using a touch screen kiosk that can be signed in to with their student ID or by typing in their BenU ID number.
